About Event

The International Maritime Defence Exhibition & Conference (IMDEC) is the largest defence exhibition and conference for the African continent. In its fourth year, IMDEC 2025 plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of naval defence strategies and capabilities for the African region whilst addressing the region’s evolving maritime threats—including piracy, illegal fishing, smuggling, and transnational crime.

Set against the backdrop of the Gulf of Guinea, one of the world’s most critical maritime security hotspots, IMDEC 2025 will convene top military leadership, ministries, national security agencies, and global defense technology suppliers to engage in high-level discussions, strategic partnerships, and capability-building initiatives.

Through cutting-edge exhibition and live demonstrations, IMDEC 2025 will provide an unparalleled opportunity for international defense suppliers to showcase next-generation naval warfare solutions, including advanced surveillance systems, unmanned maritime assets, AI-driven defense technologies, and fleet modernization solutions tailored to Africa’s maritime security needs.

IMDEC is the definitive gateway to connect with naval and military decision-makers responsible for shaping Africa’s naval defense landscape.
